Numerous residential projects undertaken by SMA have been set in a variety of locations in WA and each project is unique.

Perth it appears, has come to a crossroads where we have simply spread too far to make life enjoyable especially for those having to commute for work or study. A new thinking in how we do housing and create community is required along with massive and regular investment in public transport, and not just for new communities. For those getting older, we need to answer the challenge of allowing and encouraging ageing in place. We are starting to realise that maybe what we need is well designed more compact and flexible houses with the smallest possible footprints to allow for decent outdoor space and deep rooted vegetation, and possibly even roof terraces......We need to protect what little natural vegetation we have left. The design must commence thinking every metre matters.
